How PEC created DOD's leading virtual learning solution
When DOD was struggling to deliver effective language training to service members across the globe, they came to PEC. To offer a complete virtual learning and training program, PEC developed the tools that would grow into PEC Proximal.
Because no solutions met the strict requirements for full operational control and security that PEC required, PEC built a virtual classroom and learning management system that they controlled entirely, providing a fully-integrated virtual learning solution for the DOD. SOFTS is still used today as the cornerstone of USSOCOM's language training efforts.
PEC's solution went beyond functionality, however. DOD needed to ensure success so they built an entire learning ecosystem that wasn't just secure, but customizable, human, comprehensive, and insightful.
